On 1/5/2020, while my mum was having lunch outside, she found a ladybug :) I had been looking for a ladybug for a pet for a really long time. Instead of it being red with black spots it was black with 2 red spots, so I thought it was a boy so I named it Bob and for a nickname, Bobby. I put him in a big container with some small holes so air could come in but Bob could not come out. In his container he had: a leaf, 2 sections of an egg holder, a damp paper towel, a popsicle stick, and some soaked cranberries. He loved playing and sleeping in the egg holder (that did not have any eggs in it). When we went for a walk, I took him in his container.
On Friday when we were watching lego masters, Bob looked like he was drowning in a drop of water, so I opened the lid and got the popsicle stick and tried to help him, but when I did it looked like I kind of squished him on the stick, so I ran to mum and started crying because I loved Bob. She managed to try and bring him back to life which was great because I was so worried about him. I put him back in the container and we continued watching lego masters.
On Saturday he was just playing all day and nothing happened to him :). On Sunday afternoon I was giving him some for water and when I closed the the lid a realized i had sort of squashed him in between the side of the container and the lid so I opened it a little, but if I opened he would have flown away and if I closed it I would of squashed him. So I started crying again and ran to mum and we sat down and tried to help him. We did not know if he was still alive and I was still really upset, we got him and put him in the ground of the container and took out the leaf and the popsicle stick. We left him in my bedroom and went off to do some of our things, I was still quite upset but just was not crying. I face timed Ava and gave Bob to mum to look after. While I was talking to Ava my mum told me that Bob had moved and I was so happy that he was still alive :).
In the morning of the next day I checked on him and he had moved a lot; from the damp paper towel to the egg holder. I was so so so happy!
Then maybe an hour later he had moved again; from the egg holder to the opposite corner of the container. I was so happy!
So now I know he is alive ๐๐๐
