ANZAC Graphic Novel

Each week we get a literacy task board. This week our literacy task board was about ANZAC day. That stands for Astralian New Zealand Army Corps. We had to read this story called Harry's war, it was about a person named Harry and this man told him he had to go to war. Harry went on a train to his training camp, and in the end he was in the war, fighting for his countrie. My Graphic Novel will explain what happened a little bit better.

Do you know anything about the war or ANZAC Day?

  1. Hi Lucy,
I liked how you used shape to create the people and I did not know that ANZAC stood for Australian New Zealand Army Corps. Maybe next time you could add a little bit more boxes because I really wanted to read more!
Yes I do know some facts about the war, did you know in world war one kids at school had to go though military training?

  3. Hi Lucy, I love this! You did really well and I love the pictures that you drew but I agree with Georgina! I wanted to know more about the war and what it was like!
I know a bit about the war and ANZAC day. Do you remember the book that we have about your Great grandfather's brother who played the violin and took it when he went to war? If not, we will have to get it out and read it again!!
